I had a dream, was on the edge…
viewing the world from a window ledge.
50 floors high, but all I could see
A massive turmoil, like big black sea…
A cloud of nothing, left me so bemused
There was no way out, I was so confused.
God! I was so scared, I wanted to cry…
Until by my side flew a butterfly…
Ever so beautiful, her eyes full of love,
she looked like an angel, like a God sent dove…
She held me by the hand, and said: I’m here for you.
I promised that I’d always, be there for her too.
She opened my world, and left me thinking
This wasn’t the end but just the beginning.
The world is not so scary now I realise
As long as we’re always by each others side.
I woke up with a smile, and instantly I knew
That in my real world, that butterfly is YOU….
